The Glades County Detention Center organizes its visiting schedule based on Housing Units and they are rotated every five days. The three rotating time slots available are Monday – Sunday at:
- 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Visitors are advised to contact the detainee to determine the appropriate time slot. All visitors must have a valid ID to enter the facility and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. Visits are limited to two hours. It is recommended that visitors show up at least 15 minutes prior to the visitation hours to allow time for processing.
Attorneys are allowed to visit their clients daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Delivery bonds (i.e., immigration bonds) cannot be posted in-person directly at the Glades County Detention Center. Instead, family members or associates can post an immigration bond at any of the 82 ICE-ERO facilities around the country that accept immigration bonds. The closest facility to the Glades County Detention Center that accepts immigration bonds is located at 5524 West Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33607. Immigration bonds can be posted Monday-Friday (except holidays) at this facility from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Bonds cannot be posted directly at the Glades County Detention Center.
To post an immigration bond for someone detained at the Glades County Detention Center you must have a money order, cashier’s check or certified check. If the bond amount exceeds $10,000 and over, you can only pay by single cashiers check or a certified check. All payments should be made to the “US Department of Homeland Security” or “Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”
If you do not want to post the bond in-person yourself, you can also have a licensed immigration bond agent post the bond for you. For a small fee, ranging from 2% – 10%, an agent can post the bond for you electronically, so that you do not have to travel to the ICE-ERO facility. This process is typically faster and easier than posting a bond yourself.

Yes. there is public parking available in the front of the facility.
Can I post a bond for someone who is detained at the Glades County Detention Center?
It really depends on the specific details of the case surround the immigrant/alien that you are looking to bond out. If an immigration judge has set a bond in the immigrant’s case, then yes, you may bond someone out from this facility. If I am bonding someone out of the Glades County Detention Center, do I post the bond there or do I post the bond in another location?
While you can bail someone out of the Glades County Detention Center, you cannot post the bond at that facility. The immigration bond must be posted at one of 82 ICE-ERO facilities that accept immigration bonds. The closest ICE-ERO facility is located at 13077 Veveras Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32258. Not every ICE detention facility allows you to post an immigration bond in Florida. If you would like to post an immigration bond it must be done at an ICE-ERO facility that accepts immigration bonds.
